Canada can rewrite the record book on Saturday.
With just one medal on the penultimate day of competition at Paris 2024, Canada will be up to 25 for Paris 2024 and set a new national record for medals won at a non-boycotted Summer Games.

The Black Creek, B.C., runner finished fourth at the world championships in this event in 2022.
Rylan Wiens (men's 10-m platform diving, semis, 4 a.m.; final, 9 a.m.)
The Saskatoon diver was third in qualifying on Friday. He teamed with Nathan Zsombor-Murray, who also is in the semis, to win bronze in the synchro event earlier in the Olympics.
Brooke Henderson (women's golf, round 4, 5:55 a.m.)
The Smiths Falls, Ont. native is five shots out of a bronze-medal position entering the final round.
Justina Di Stasio (women's wrestling, 76-kg competition, 5 a.m.)
After taking a long break from the sport, the native of Coquitlam, B.C., returned ahead of Paris. She won world-championship gold at 72 kg in 2018.
Katie Vincent (women's canoe single 200-m semis, 5:40 a.m.; final, 7:40 a.m.)
Vincent teamed up with Sloan MacKenzie to win bronze in the C-2 500 metres on Friday. She looks for her third career Olympic medal on Saturday.
Philip Kim (men's breaking, 10 a.m.)
Better known as B-Boy Phil Wizard, the Vancouver dancer is a medal favourite in this new Olympic sport. He has won medals at the past three world championships, including gold in 2022.
Marco Arop (men's 800-m final, 1:05 p.m.)
The Edmonton runner won gold at the world championships in this event last year.
Canadian women's 4x400-m relay team (final, 3:14 p.m.)
Canada finished third in this event at the World Athletics Relays earlier this year.
