Canadian Corey Conners carded a round of three-under 68 on the third day of the Open Championship on Saturday at Royal Liverpool.
Conners, 31, from Listowel, Ont., had a pair of birdies on the front and another pair on the back. If not for a bogey on the par-5 18th hole, Conners would have had a flawless day.
That result moved him up into a tie for 23rd at one-under for the Open, with the leaders all still out on the course on a rainy day in Hoylake, England. It was Conners' best result so far this week, having carded an opening-round 73 and a 71 in the second round.
Conners is the only Canadian remaining after Nick Taylor failed to make the cut.
