Canada's Roger Sloan is going back to the PGA Tour after a huge par save on his final hole of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship on Sunday in Newburgh, Ind.
Sloan made a 10-footer to save par to jump into 29th in the Korn Ferry Tour standings. The top 30 after the event graduated to the PGA Tour.
Sloan, from Merritt, B.C., started the week in 31st.
The Canadian shot a 1-under 71 on Sunday to finish 6 under for the tournament, good for a tie for 10th, eight strokes behind winner Paul Barjon of France.
Sloan, 36, lost his PGA Tour card after the 2011-22 season. He was struggling on the Korn Ferry circuit this season before getting back into PGA Tour contention with a win at the Utah Championship in August.
Sloan's best PGA Tour finish was a runner-up showing when Kevin Kisner won a six-man playoff at the 2021 Wyndham Championship.
Meanwhile, Ben Silverman of Thornhill, Ont. also is going back to the PGA Tour after finishing fifth in the Korn Ferry standings.
