As the inaugural training camp opens up, PWHL teams announced the signings of top draft picks and free agents.
PWHL Montreal signed first-round pick Erin Ambrose to a three-year deal, while locking up Ann-Sophie Bettez, Claire Dalton and Sarah Bujold to one-year contracts.
Geographical rival PWHL Toronto signed Natalie Spooner to a two-year deal and Hannah Miller to a one-year deal.
PWHL New York added France's Chloe Aurard to a two-year contract.
Terms of these contracts were not disclosed by the teams.
PWHL training camps opened on Friday as women's hockey players from around the world will battle for roster spots in the PWHL's first season. Rosters must be reduced to 27 by Nov. 29 and final rosters will be submitted by Dec. 11.
