Following two record-breaking showings at Scotiabank Arena and the Bell Centre during the PWHL's inaugural season, the league will return to a Canadian NHL arena once more.
On Dec. 6, the Ottawa Charge will host the Montreal Victoire at the Canadian Tire Centre, the teams announced Wednesday.
The PWHL has a successful track record playing in NHL arenas across various markets, including New York, Pittsburgh and Detroit.
PWHL fans broke the women's hockey attendance record in February when Montreal hosted Toronto at Bell Centre, a game played in front of a sold-out crowd of 21,105.
Though the capacity for the CTC is slightly smaller at 18,652, that is slightly less than double the capacity of the Charge's normal home arena, TD Place, which seats 9,862. Ottawa averaged 7,496 fans per game last season.
The PWHL's sophomore season opens on Nov. 30.
