Ottawa goaltender Emerance Maschmeyer, Charge teammate Katerina Mrazova and Montréal Victoire forward Marie-Philip Poulin have been named the Professional Women’s Hockey League's three stars of the week.
Maschmeyer earned first-star honours after she made 34 saves in Ottawa's 3-1 road victory over the New York Sirens on Sunday.
Mrazova, who was named second star, scored her first goal of the season and added an assist as the Charge ended a three-game losing streak with their first road win of the campaign.
Poulin scored the winning goal in Montreal’s 3-2 victory at defending Walter Cup champion Minnesota on Saturday.
The goal extended her point streak to three games and helped lift the Victoire to their third straight win.
Montreal was scheduled to return to action Monday night against the visiting Boston Fleet.
