Natalie Snodgrass will be back with PWHL Ottawa next season.
The team announced Wednesday that the forward has been signed to a one-year contract extension for the 2024-25 season.
Snodgrass, 25, appeared in 23 games for Ottawa throughout the league's inaugural season, recording six points (one goal and five assists).
“Natalie is a valuable member of our group,” said PWHL Ottawa general manager Mike Hirshfeld in the team's news release. “She played on the power play and on the penalty killing units last season. She’s a great teammate and a real competitive player on the ice. She battles out there. We are really excited to have that type of player back in our lineup.”
A native of Minnesota, Snodgrass is the first player to officially re-sign with Ottawa this off-season.
PWHL teams have an exclusive window until free agency begins on June 21 to offer extensions to players currently under contract.
