All six PWHL teams are ready for puck drop for the league's season-opening weekend.
After two weeks of pre-season camp, teams signed their returning and rookie players and selected their reserves.
The PWHL waiver period opened on Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. ET. Unsigned players were available to negotiate with other clubs until 3 p.m. ET on Nov. 27. Afterwards, drafted players who were unclaimed during the waiver period returned to the protected list of their original team.
The final team rosters include at least 23 players who have signed Standard Player Agreements and up to three reserve players per team.
Reserve players make a minimum of $15,000 and don't receive the housing stipend offered to other players. For this reason some players may not be financially able to sign to team reserves. This could explain, for example, why the New York Sirens only have one reserve player listed.
