PWHL Montreal re-signs forward Claire Dalton to one-year contract

PWHL Montreal has re-signed forward Claire Dalton to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Dalton registered nine points (five goals and four assists) in 20 games during the league’s inaugural season.

The 24-year-old from Toronto also appeared in three playoff games.

She was selected in the 12th round, 67th overall, by Montreal during the 2023 PWHL Draft.

Dalton attended Yale University from 2018-23. She served as captain of the Yale Bulldogs during her senior year and led them to their first Ivy League championship scoring the game-tying goal and overtime winner against Cornell in the final.

She finished her collegiate career with 133 points in 130 games and is Yale’s all-time leader in assists, with 89.
