2022 is our 30th Anniversary Season!
NTT IndyCar Series:
Last Race: Sunday May 1st: Barber Alabama: Mexico’s Pato O’Ward earned his first victory of the season in the No. 5 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet, beating reigning champion and 2021 Barber winner Alex Palou to the checkered flag. Pole sitter Rinus VeeKay finished 3rd. Pato’s 3rd career win came after O’Ward admitted he was distracted by contract talks with Arrow McLaren SP at the first two races of the season, at St. Petersburg and Texas, where he finished 12th and 15th, respectively. O’Ward rebounded by placing 5th last month at Long Beach and returned this weekend to the form that helped him finish 3rd in the 2021 championship standings.
Canadians: Rookie Devlin DeFrancesco 17th, Dalton Kellett 23rd.
IndyCar points into the Indianapolis road race: Palou leads McLaughlin by just 3.
Next Race: Sunday May 14th: The Road Course at The Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Formula One World Driving Championship: Idle!
Next Race: Sunday May 8th: Miami Florida, Inaugural event.
Last Race: Sunday April 24th: Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Imola Italy: Red Bull’s Max Verstappen totally dominated, his engine not shutting off this time, looking like a reigning world champion. A sweep for the Dutch driver: sprint winner for the pole, led every lap and the fastest lap for his 2nd win of the season! A Red Bull 1-2 with Sergio Perez. Charles Leclerc looked good for 3rd in front of the Ferrari faithful, but he spun on his own late, wound up 6th to dent his points lead. It was a dismal day for Ferrari! Carlos Sainz going out on the first lap, punted into the gravel by McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo. McLaren teammate Lando Norris finished 3rd, George Russell 4th, much better than his Mercedes team mate, who’s car is so bad he couldn’t even get around Pierre Gasly’s Alfa Tauri. Lewis Hamilton a miserable 13th, a lap down! He’s already written off the championship and it’s only April!
Canadians: Montreal’s Lance Stroll, better! 10th, in the points for the first time this season. Nick Latifi: 16th.
F-1 Points into Miami: LeClerc leads Verstappen by 27 in Drivers, Ferrari’s lead on Red Bull is down to 11 in Constructors.
