NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series: 

Last Race: Playoff and season finale at Phoenix Raceway: By finishing 2nd behind race winner Ross Chastain, Ryan Blaney, who started the race 15^th, wins the 2023 NASCAR Cup championship! This mark his first Cup title and 5^th for owner Roger Penske, who had some coaching for Ryan. Kyle Larson finished the race 3^rd, a great scrap with Blaney in the closing laps! William Byron wound up 4^th!              

Next Race: Season now closed. 2024 season opener: Sunday Feb. 18^th, The 66^th Daytona 500.

Formula One World Driving Championship:   

Last GP: Sunday November 5^th: The Brazilian Grand Prix, Sao Paulo: Same old, same old. Although Red Bull’s Max Verstappen had to survive red flag chaos and a restart, he once again bolted away to run and hide for season win 17, re-setting the record again. This win marks the 52^nd of his career, one shy of Sebastian Vettel for 3^rd all time. Charles LeClerc crashed on the formation lap when he lost hydraulics. Then a 3-car crash at Turn 1 caused a half-hour delay before they started again. Lando Norris was strong again to finish 2^nd, while Fernando Alonso was in a wheel-to-wheel fight with Sergio Perez on the final lap to grab 3^rd. Nice bounce back for Aston Martin as Canada’s Lance Stroll grabbed 5^th after qualifying 3^rd, his best result since the summer break!

F-1 Points: into the second-last GP of the season on the 18^th with the highly anticipated dash up The Strip in Las Vegas!  The fight for 2^nd place under champions Max Verstappen and Red Bull: Finishing 4^th, Perez’s lead over Lewis Hamilton, 8^th, for runner-up in the Driver's Championship is back up to 32. Mercedes’ advantage over Ferrari in Constructors is now 20 points.

Next GP: SATURDAY November 18^th: The Grand Prix of Las Vegas, USA. Inaugural Event.

 NTT IndyCar Series: Season Closed!

Alex Palou wins his 2^nd series championship. ( 2021 ).  15th IndyCar title for Chip Ganassi Racing.

Final IndyCar Points: Alex Palou 78 better than team mate Scott Dixon. Canada’s Devlin DeFrancesco: ranked 22^nd.

Next Race: 2024 season opener: Sunday March 10^th:St. Petersburg FLA.

Next Rally: November 25^th: Rally of The Tall Pines, Bancroft Ontario.

Last Rally: Oct 22^nd: Rally Charlesvoix, La Malbaie PQ: Vincent & Gaudreau first overall and Open 4WD aboard their Subaru Impreza by 2 minutes over Arsenault & Belanger and their Subaru WRX STi. Trudel & Miller won Production 4WD in their Subaru WRX. Leblanc & LeBlanc won 2WD in their Nissan Sentra. Top 4 cars all Subaru’s!

World Rally Championship:

Next Rally: November 19^th: The Rally Japan, Chubu. Season closer.

Last Rally: October 29th: Central European Rally Bavaria, Kalle Rovanperä is now a 2-time WRC champion, clinching the title by finishing second overall to Thierry Neuville.  Just a year ago, Rovanperä made history as the youngest WRC champion ever at only 22 years!
