Jonathan David is moving to Italy.
The Canadian striker reached a long-term deal with Serie A's Juventus, soccer insider Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday.
David confirmed his departure from France's Lille at the end of the Ligue 1 season. During his time there, he scored 109 goals over 232 appearances in all competitions, across a five-year spell.
The Ottawa native is Canada's leading men's goal scorer with 35 goals in 66 international appearances.
Juventus is in the market for a striker with Dusan Vlahovic set to leave as a free transfer at the end of his contract in June 2026.
The Italian side was eliminated from the Club World Cup in the Round of 16 after a 1-0 loss to Real Madrid on Tuesday.
David and Canada were knocked out of the Gold Cup in quarterfinals after a loss to Guatemala in penalties on Sunday.
