MILAN, Italy — AC Milan says it has completed the signing of Nancy midfielder Bakaye Traore and Fiorentina’s Riccardo Montolivo.
They both arrive at the club on a free transfer and will shore up the midfield following the departure of Mark Van Bommel and Gennaro Gattuso.
The moves Thursday come as little surprise after Nancy announced the Traore deal last week. Traore has signed a three-year deal with the Serie A runner-up.
Montolivo’s deal runs a year longer — until 2016. Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri announced his arrival over the weekend.
