Canadian men’s national manager Jesse Marsch has named Alphonso Davies the team’s captain for their friendly against the Netherlands on Thursday.
Davies will play at left back for Canada in a startling lineup that features what appears to be a roster with a full complement of potential starters for the upcoming Copa America.
