The Canadian men's national soccer team was drawn in Group C along with Honduras and Curacao ahead of the Concacaf Nations League group stage.

The Nations League group stage will serve as qualifications for the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup. The winners and runners up of each group in League A, which Canada is currently in, will book their spot at the Gold Cup.

The Nations League group stage will take place during the June 2022 and March 2023 international windows with the finals round set for June 2023.

Canada and Honduras met twice during the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, drawing 1-1 back on Sept. 2 at BMO Field. The Canadians won their last encounter 2-0 in Honduras on Jan. 27.

Canada last played Curacao in a friendly on June 13, 2017 at Montreal's Stade Saputo for Alphonso Davies' first ever game with the national team.
