Canadian men's national team goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau was carted off the pitch in the MLS Cup Final with an apparent leg injury after getting into a collision on Saturday.
The LAFC goalkeeper was seen holding his leg after trying to cut off the path of Philadelphia Union's Cory Burke, who had a clear-cut chance on goal. The two players collided as Crépeau held his leg in pain.
The Greenfield Park, Que., native held his thumb up in the air as he was taken off the field.
It was the second injury on the day for Canada with the World Cup just over two weeks away. Earlier, Alphonso Davies limped off the field while playing for Bayern Munich.

It will be challenged from the start in Group F in Qatar, where the team faces Belgium on Nov. 23, then Croatia on Nov. 27 and Morocco on Dec. 1.
