Players on the Canadian men's soccer team resumed training on Monday in the midst of a dispute over World Cup compensation, Canada Soccer says.
The statement says Canada Soccer and players met Sunday night for negotiations and future meetings are scheduled in hopes of finding a resolution.
The statement does not say if the players will agree to play their scheduled Nations League game against Curacao on Thursday in Vancouver.
Two training sessions and a friendly against Panama on Sunday in Vancouver were cancelled because the players refused to take part.
