It’s come to Rome.
After a nail-biting 120 minutes at Wembley Stadium, the Euro 2020 final required penalty kicks as Italy edged England 3-2 on penalties won to win their second European championship and their sixth international trophy.
Italians across the world made sure to celebrate the accomplishment considering the turnaround the Azzurri saw under Roberto Mancini, going from a team that failed to qualify for the World Cup to winning the Euros.
Here are some of the best celebrations including in Rome as thousands watched Gianluigi Donnarumma’s diving save bring glory back to Italy.
