OL Reign of the NWSL has reached a deal with Paris St. Germain to acquire Canadian forward Jordyn Huitema, Meg Linehan of The Athletic reported Wednesday.

The 21-year-old has played for PSG since 2019, when she announced she would go pro instead of attending college and signed a four-year contract with the club. Huitema was instrumental in the club's first league title, when she scored a goal in the final minute to clinch the victory. Additionally, she once held the title as the top Canadian scorer in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

According to Linehan, the Seattle-based OL Reign are looking to Huitema to provide the team with much-needed offensive production.

Huitema has a decorated international career as a member of the Canadian Women's National Team, scoring her first goal at 16 and earning a gold medal at the Tokyo Summer Olympics. She also competed as a member of the women's team at the 2019 FIFA World Cup.

Recently, Huitema was named to the Canadian Women's National Team roster once again for the upcoming international window.
