Domenico Criscito is expected to sign a deal with Toronto FC within the next few days, according to Sky Sports' Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian defender will join the team in March instead of staying with Genoa until the end of the season. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Criscito is signing a two-year deal.
The 35-year-old is the second player to join TFC from Serie A after Napoli's Lorenzo Insigne signed a four-year back in January. Insigne will make his way over in July.
During his career, Criscito has played for Juventus, Genoa, Saint Petersburg and Zenit where he has won two Russian Premier League titles. The Cercola, Italy native has 26 appearances with the Italian national team most notably in the 2010 World Cup and 2008 Olympics.
