MADRID — Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna says Portugal striker Helder Postiga will have surgery aimed to relieve pain in his back.
The club says the surgery is scheduled for Wednesday.
The 32-year-old Postiga has scored two goals in 14 appearances in all competitions for Deportivo this season.
He played in one match for Portugal at last year’s World Cup.
