DORTMUND, Germany — Borussia Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp says he expects midfield star Mario Goetze to be fit for the all-German Champions League final against Bayern Munich on May 25 at Wembley.

Goetze will resume jogging next week and join the squad for regular practices. Klopp says “one week of jogging and one week of training with the team is optimal.”

Goetze injured his left hamstring in the return leg of the Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid. Dortmund advanced 4-3 on aggregate.

The final in Wembley will be Goetze’s last game for Dortmund, before he moves to Bayern. The 20-year-old is considered Germany’s top prospect.
