Former Toronto FC forward Sebastian Giovinco landed in Saudi Arabia on Monday, officially beginning his tenure as a member of Al-Hilal.
Last week, TFC sold Giovinco to the Saudi Arabian club after contract talks stalled between the MLS side and the Italian forward. Giovinco was in the final year of his deal with the Reds and wanted a contract extension.

Giovinco was unveiled to Al-Hilal fans during halftime of its home game vs. Al-Fateh on Monday at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia.
The Italian reportedly signed a three-year deal with Al-Hilal worth US $11.5 million per season.
Al-Hilal currently sits in first place in the Saudi Professional League after 18 games in the 30-game season.
Founded in 1957, Al-Hilal has won 15 Saudi Arabian league titles, more than any other team.
