Playing in its first major tournament since 1958, Wales is one of the feel good stories of Euro 2016.
Thousands of fans made the trip to Bordeaux to see their team open the tournament against Slovakia Saturday afternoon and they were quickly treated to something special.
Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale opened the scoring in the 10th minute with an unreal free kick over a wall of Slovakians.
The goal was Wales first ever at the European Championships and it’s safe to say the players were excited.
Wales won the match 2-1.
