Man United defender Rojo out for up to six weeks

Preview of all the six Barclays Premier League Saturday games as Chelsea travels to Anfield to square off against a Liverpool squad still bitter about last April’s loss.

MANCHESTER, England — Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says defender Marcos Rojo will be out for six weeks after dislocating his shoulder in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City last Sunday.

Van Gaal says "he saw a specialist yesterday evening who said the conservative way to heal it is best" and that "it can be less than six weeks. If he needed an operation, 12 weeks."

Rojo’s injury leaves Van Gaal with a lack of central defensive options ahead of the English Premier League match at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday, with Phil Jones, Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling also unavailable.

Striker Radamel Falcao will also miss the game as he has not recovered from a calf problem.
