TORONTO — Toronto FC parted ways with defender Logan Emory on Thursday, placing the 25-year-old centre back on waivers.
He made 29 combined appearances in league, CONCACAF Champions League and Amway Canadian Championship play since signing with the Major League Soccer team in March 2012.
Emory was hampered by foot and shoulder injuries this season and played in only three MLS games. He played in 23 MLS games last year.
The six-foot-one, 185-pound native of Boise, Id., previously spent two seasons with Puerto Rico of United Soccer Leagues.
