LONDON — Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will be out for around four weeks with a left hamstring injury sustained on the opening weekend of the English Premier League season.
Tottenham gave the prognosis on Tuesday after Lloris had a scan on the injury.
Lloris, who is Tottenham’s captain, left the field in the first half of the 1-1 draw at Everton on Saturday.
He will potentially miss three Premier League games and Tottenham’s opening game in the Champions League group stage.
Lloris, who is also captain of France, is set to miss France’s friendly away to Italy on Sept. 1 and a 2018 World Cup qualifier away to Belarus on Sept. 6.
