Sportsnet 590 The FAN is the unanimous radio home to Toronto sports fans, once again experiencing double and triple-digit ratings growth in all weekday programming in the key sports demographic (Male 25-54). As announced today in the Bureau of Broadcast Measurement (BBM) survey report, Sportsnet 590 The FAN’s total share of tuning has increased by a dramatic 67% for the R1 period (Nov. 26, 2012 to Feb 24, 2013) over the same period last year.

Each daytime show on Sportsnet 590 The FAN experienced double to triple-digit growth for the R1 period year-over-year:

  •  Brady and Lang in the Morning (5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET) – increased share of hours tuned to 8.1 share from 4.5 (80% increase)
  • The Jeff Blair Show (9 a.m. to Noon ET) – increased share of hours tuned to 9.4 share from 3.8 (147% increase)
  • Hockey Central @ Noon (Noon to 1 p.m. ET) – even though the show aired during the NHL lockout, increased share of hours tuned to 10.3 share from 4.8 (115% increase)
  • Tim & Sid (1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET) – increased share of hours tuned to 8.6 share from 5.5 (56% increase)
  • Prime Time Sports with Bob McCown (4 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET) – Canada’s most-listened to  sports afternoon drive show in Toronto increased listenership to 11.3 share from 9.2 (23% increase)
