Tony Finau signed a one-match contract to compete with LA on Monday, joining Morikawa and Sahith Theegala with Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood both unable to compete.
The victory also helped LA leap into first place overall with seven points in four matches.
The Bay, which features Ludvig Aberg, Shane Lowry, Wyndham Clark and Min Woo Lee, sits second with six points in three matches, but can no longer finish lower than fourth.
Atlanta moves on after its win, which was clinched on the 14th hole when Billy Horschel made birdie while Hideki Matsuyama narrowly missed his own birdie putt.
