Women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso and former champion Valentina Shevchenko will renew their rivalry as coaches on season 32 of The Ultimate Fighter.
UFC president Dana White made the announcement Friday about the new season of the popular reality series, which will begin airing in June.
TUF 32 will feature competitors from the men’s featherweight and middleweight divisions.
The 145-pound competitors are Edwin Cooper Jr., Nathan Fletcher, Zygimantas Ramaska, Roedie Roets, Bekhzod Usmonov, Guillermo Torres, Kaan Ofli and Mairon Santos.
The 185-pound competitors are Omran Chaaban, Shamidkhan Magomedov, Mark Hulme, Ryan Loder, Giannis Bachar, Thomas Theocharis and Paddy McCorry.
Shevchenko was 9-0 at 125 pounds and had defended the flyweight title seven consecutive times prior to Grasso submitting her at UFC 285 one year ago. Grasso retained the belt this past September after the pair fought to a controversial split draw at Noche UFC.
Although no official announcement has been made, it is presumed Grasso and Shevchenko will complete their trilogy at some point later this year.
