It will be an all-American showdown this summer in the UFC.
According to Ariel Helwani of The MMA Hour, Rose Namajunas and Maycee Barber will be the main event at UFC Fight Night in July.
The bout will take place at 125 pounds.
Namajunas, 31, is a two-time women's strawweight champion and holds the third most title fight wins in the women's strawweight division history. She made the move to the flyweight division in 2023 and is 1-1 in her flyweight bouts thus far.
Barber, 25, ranks fourth in the UFC women's flyweight division. In her 11 fights since joining UFC, she's fallen in just two. She's tied with Gillian Robinson for the third most wins in the women's flyweight division history.
UFC Fight Night 243 is scheduled to take place on July 13 in Denver, Col.
