Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler's battle of wits — in anticipation of their brawl in a cage — will have to wait for another day.
The UFC 303 press conference scheduled for Monday in McGregor's native Dublin will be postponed until further notice, the promotion announced.
On Monday, McGregor said on social media the event was called off "due to a series of obstacles outside of our control."
"I apologize to my Irish fans, and fans around the world, for the inconvenience and appreciate all your passion and support. I can’t wait to put on the greatest all-time show in the Octagon," he said.
McGregor, the former two-division champion hasn't fought since July 2021 and Monday was meant to be his first UFC media appearance since stepping away three years ago.
The pay-per-view event headlined by the Irishman and Chandler will headline International Fight Week, set for June 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
