The UFC was stationed at the Apex for another night of Fight Night action before the organization heads back overseas for UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi next weekend.
Anthony Hernandez and Michel Pereira were in the main event spotlight with both middleweights riding lengthy winning streaks.

-- Anthony Hernandez def. Michel Pereira by technical knockout at 2:22 of Round 5
Pereira had a moment in the opening minute of the first round when he hurt Hernandez to the body but like most “Fluffy” fights, he eventually took over with his relentless grappling. He dominated Pereira until getting the finish in the fifth and final round.
-- Rob Font def. Kyler Phillips by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
After being controlled on the ground in the first round, Font established his jab and did the better work on the feet over the final 10 minutes.
-- Charles Johnson def. Su Mudaerji by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
These fan-friendly flyweight went back and forth for 15 minutes, both showing advanced striking and improved grappling.
-- Cameron Smotherman def. Jake Hadley by unanimous decision (30-26, 29-27, 29-27)
The UFC newcomer landed more strikes and Hadley was deducted a point in the second round for a damaging eye poke. Smotherman took this fight on short notice.
-- Darren Elkins def. Daniel Pineda by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Were it not for some incredible submission defence, Elkins may not have made it out of the first minute of the fight. He fought off multiple guillotine chokes before winning the final two rounds in a bloody bout.
PRELIMINARY CARD
-- Asu Almabayev def. Matheus Nicolau by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Almabayev extended his winning streak to 17 in a row while Nicolau has now lost three in a row.
-- Jean Matsumoto def. Brad Katona by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Both bantamweights wasted no time trading heavy strikes and didn’t stop doing just that until the final horn of an excellent bantamweight fight. The Brazilian improved to 16-0 in MMA with the win.
-- Joselyne Edwards def. Tamires Vidal by submission at 4:33 of Round 3
This catchweight bout ended with a late submission after Vidal was lax with her defence. Edwards missed weight by three pounds Friday and was fined 30 per cent of her purse. This was the third time Edwards has missed weight in her UFC career. She is now 3-0 when she has missed weight.
-- Elise Reed def. Jessica Penne by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Reed took a while to find her rhythm but took over the fight as it progressed.
-- Melissa Martinez def. Alice Ardelean by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
There was a moment toward the end of the final round where Martinez connected with a kick to the body that should've ended the bout, however the referee incorrectly called it a low blow.
-- Austen Lane def. Robelis Despaigne by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
The former NFL player used a solid dose of wrestling and ground control to snap his losing streak to hand the Olympic bronze medallist in taekwondo his second straight UFC loss.
