Tetsuro Taira's climb up the flyweight ladder has been something to behold. Since joining the UFC in 2022, he's gone undefeated, which has boosted the 24-year-old's pro MMA record to a glistening 15-0 and put him well on his way to a shot at the belt.
That path only became more clear as he earned yet another win, forcing a TKO after showing off some wicked grappling to take down contender Alex Perez. He asked for a shot at the title after his win.
Also on the card was a co-main event bantamweight bout between octagon veteran Douglas Silva de Andrade and the promising Miles "Chapo" Johns in which the latter was able to earn his second straight win.
