Both the champion and challenger must weigh no heavier than 125 pounds for their flyweight title fight to be made official, while there will be a one-pound allowance for all non-title bouts scheduled for the event. That will mean co-main event competitors Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Machado Garry can weigh up to 171 pounds ahead of their five-round welterweight title eliminator.
To help get you set for all the action, Sportsnet’s Aaron Bronsteter will be joined alongside UFC bantamweight contender Aiemann Zahabi live at the UFC Apex all throughout the official weigh-in window on Friday morning.
Fans can stream the UFC 310 Official Weigh-in Show beginning at approximately 11:55 a.m. ET / 8:55 a.m. PT on both Sportsnet.ca and Sportsnet+.
Bronsteter and Zahabi will report the live results as each fighter steps on the scale, plus the pair are expected to speak with a handful of the athletes scheduled to compete at UFC 310.
Back at UFC 303 during Sportsnet’s live weigh-in show, fight fans got to witness Charles Jourdain’s candid reaction to his opponent, Jean Silva, missing weight by a pound-and-a-half.
The morning of the official weigh-in on the eve of a major event often is accompanied by drama like we saw with Jourdain and Silva, so who knows what could be in store this week ahead of UFC 310?
In addition to the anticipated main and co-main events, the card features numerous former champions and future contenders including a rematch between one-time interim heavyweight titleholder Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov.
The stacked prelims see former bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling face Movsar Evloev in a pivotal featherweight matchup, former middleweight champion Chris Weidman take on Eryk Anders at a catchweight in a bout that was originally supposed to happen at UFC 309, plus Anthony Smith and Dominick Reyes go toe-to-toe in a 205-pound meeting of past Jon Jones opponents.
