Bisons score 41 straight points to beat Huskies

WINNIPEG – Jordan Yantz threw a touchdown pass and ran in another to lead the Manitoba Bisons to a 41-8 upset victory over the No. 7 Saskatchewan Huskies on Friday night in Canadian university football action.

Matt Sawyer caught five passes including two touchdowns for Manitoba (3-3).

The Bisons were shut out in the first quarter before exploding for 41 straight points. Manitoba racked up 505 total yards offensively.

Drew Burko completed 14-of-27 pass attempts, throwing for 164 yards and was intercepted once for the Huskies (4-2).

Shane Buchanan had nine carries for 30 yards and a touchdown for Saskatchewan.
