How Nuu-chah-nulth ‘Rising Tide’ uses surfing to rediscover their bond with the ocean

Three years ago the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations started a surf team called Mułaa, or Rising Tide, and are using surfing as a way to strengthen community, to create enthusiasm around exercise, and to rediscover their cultural bond with the ocean.
