Prospects Ville Heinola, of the Winnipeg Jets, and Roni Hirvonen, of the Toronto Maple Leafs, have been named to Finland’s final world junior roster, the team announced Saturday.

Other prominent names to make the cut are Anton Lundell, who was taken by the Florida Panthers with the 12th pick in October’s NHL draft, and 16-year-old Brad Lambert, projected to be one of the top selections in 2022.

Heinola, 19, has gotten off to a fast start in Finland’s SM liiga this season, rattling off 14 points in 19 games for Lukko Rauma. The five-foot-11 defenceman was selected by the Jets with the 20th pick in 2019.

Hirvonen, meanwhile, is a five-foot-nine, 164-pound pivot, who was taken by the Leafs in the second round (59th overall) of the 2020 draft. He has nine points in 21 games with Assat Pori in the SM-liiga this season.

Finland’s full roster can be found here.

The tournament begins on Christmas Day in Edmonton.
