If returning behind the bench isn't in the cards for Bruce Boudreau in the near future, perhaps he should consider managing WWE superstars.
The former NHL head coach (and avid wrestling fan) was spotted ringside during Monday Night Raw in Hershey, Pa., and also met up with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn backstage for a WWE digital exclusive.
Boudreau gave the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions a pep talk following their main-event match with Matt Riddle against Imperium.
Although Boudreau told the champs they did OK in their victory, he criticized Owens for staying outside too long during the match and believed Zayn could be more active in the ring.
Owens and Zayn are scheduled to defend their titles against The Bloodline's Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa during Saturday's Night of Champions pay-per-view event.
Boudreau said he's expecting big things from the Canadian duo with another pep talk perhaps on tap.
Monday wasn't the first time Owens and Boudreau had met in person. Owens attended the 2022 NHL Draft in Montreal and dropped in to say hello to Boudreau, who was working as an analyst for the NHL Network.
Owens also tweeted a message of support for Boudreau when he was fired by the Vancouver Canucks on Jan. 22.
